Throughout Hannah's life I knew she was for great things. Her drive and enthusiasm for life knew no bounds. Even at a young age she was always trying to make things better, her caring nature towards others was selfless. As she grew older, she became a bit isolated. Hannah would only tell her closest friend about her Cystic Fibrosis, every one that knew her knew she was hearing impaired but hannah did not feel that it was anything to control how she wanted to live. I got her to join Deaf Stars Youth Club, and by god it was the making of her. She found her true calling, met the most wonderful people from all over the country and abroad. This was Hannah's opportunity to change the world, as she grew older she helped set up the Deffo Forum, worked as a Project Leader for the British Deaf Association Wales and she was also a Board member for the NIAB Advocacy Board run by the Welsh Assembely - all because she could be a voice for young people in both the Deaf and Hearing World. Over the past 12 months she has had to keep a back seat on her commitments due to her illness, but remained involved as much as possible. Hannah has touched so many lives, she never gave up and I hope this legacy set up for her will help other young people reach their full potential. She is now at peace but lives on in every one of us and I hope we can make her proud. Love you, sleep well Mum
